Murau, the small, quiet, Styrian town transforms into a real ski paradise in the winter season. Kreischberg ski center located 7 kms away has gained great fame on the list of Austrian ski slopes in the last few years. The ski slopes is easily accessible from our hotel: it is 5-10 minutes by car, small train and bus and the latter leave from the direct proximity of the hotel and can be used free of charge if you present your ski pass. The cabin lift starting from 850 m takes the fans of winter sports up to the widespread 46-km-long ski slopes. Pros are lured by exciting slides from the height of 2118 m, snowboard fans are awaited by wide slopes and family skiing is allowed by declivous hillsides.

Additional ski slopes nearby make your ski break diverse: Frauenalpe, Grebenzen, Lachtal, Turracher Höhe, Obertauern etc (the latter guarantee safe snow for skiing even until the end of April).

You can make your program even more colorful with other sport opportunities, such as sleighing, ice-skating, ski running, ski jumping, curling or excursions with horse sleigh. If you had enough of snow, an indoor swimming pool, tennis hall, wall climbing hall and gym await you nearby.
